Marc D. Gietter
President
Marc Gietter has more than 40 years of experience with the government, including 36 years as an Army employee and now as a consultant, with a range of experience from R&D through surging the production base during the two Gulf Wars. Mr. Gietter started his career as an industrial base planner, and eventually became the CECOM “Battery Guru” reporting directly to the Commanding General and was the project leader for surging the battery production base during the two Gulf Wars. He ended his career as a R&D battery engineer where his responsibilities included, Chairperson of the Power Sources Technical Working Group, Chairperson of the Fuel Cell Technical Working Group, Chairperson of the Aviation Battery Standardization Group, Chairperson of the Joint Standardization Board for Power Sources and Co-chairperson of the NATO Power Team of Experts. He authored the initial Army Battery Standardization policy. He is the owner of Crystal Clear Consulting.
James Trevey, Ph.D
Vice President
James Trevey Ph. D, CTO of Forge Nano, is a thought leader in materials science and energy storage technologies. He is an Officer of NAATBatt, contributes regularly to DOE/DOD advisory committees, and is an active supporter and enabler of collaborative industry and government relations focused on energy security.
Melissa Floyd
Marketing and Communications Director
Melissa Floyd is Vice President of Communications and Digital Marketing Development and Integration for Stryten Energy, responsible for leading the company’s communications, public relations, digital marketing, social media, content development and brand strategy. Ms. Floyd has more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience, including five years in the stored energy industry. In previous roles, Ms. Floyd was responsible for industry analyst relations, corporate marketing, customer research, acquisition integration, digital marketing and strategic communications. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Marketing Concentration, from Auburn University.
