MPSC is excited to announce the formation of a new committee, dedicated to the maintenance and sustainment of lithium-ion batteries. Unlike older battery types, lithium-ion batteries require ongoing attention during both use and storage—a need that is often neglected or addressed too late, leading to various challenges.
To tackle these issues, the MPSC is launching the Battery Maintenance Committee, which will focus on identifying and discussing key concerns related to battery upkeep, sustainability, and operations. The committee’s goal is to recommend solutions that serve the interests of both commercial and military users.
The first official meeting of this committee is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT.
Initial discussion topics will cover:
Participants include DLA, NAVSEA, American Lithium Energy, Eskra Technical Products, Powerfilm Solar, among others.

We look forward to your participation.
